Tidio's pricing page sells three products that can be bought separately or together, each with its own tiers. The page shows annual-billing prices by default; the monthly-billing prices below come from the data embedded in the same page. Customer Service (human-answered conversations): Free costs US$0. Starter costs US$29 a month, or US$24.17 a month billed annually, for 100 billable conversations, plus a one-off 50 Lyro conversations and 100 Flows visitors. Growth starts at US$59 a month for 250 conversations (from US$49.17 a month billed annually) and rises to US$349 for 2,000. Growth does not include a renewing Lyro quota. Lyro AI Agent: tiers run from US$39 a month for 50 Lyro conversations (or US$32.50 a month billed annually) through US$140 for 200 and US$350 for 500, up to US$700 for 1,000. Flows: tiers run from US$29 a month for 2,000 unique visitors reached (from US$24.17 billed annually) to US$299 for 100,000. Self-serve plans allow up to 10 seats. Annual billing gives 2 months free; we only saw the annual price rendered for the entry tier of each product, so check the toggle for the others. Above the largest self-serve tier on any meter you need a custom plan. Plus costs US$300 a month plus usage at rates Tidio does not publish, with Lyro from 300 conversations. Premium is quote-only, starts at 3,000 Lyro conversations, bills per resolution and promises a 50% Lyro resolution rate; Tidio publishes neither the price per resolution nor a definition of a resolution. The US$0.50 per conversation on the Lyro page does not match any self-serve tier: dividing the monthly price by the allowance gives US$0.78 per conversation on the smallest tier and US$0.70 on the largest. Even with 2 free months on annual billing, the largest tier stays above the headline figure, and Tidio does not say which plan the headline applies to. Those per-conversation figures are our arithmetic, not prices Tidio prints.

What you are billed for
Tidio counts three things, and each has its own quota, reset date and limit behaviour. Billable conversations are the human meter: the pricing page defines one as any live chat, ticket, email or social conversation that includes a message from a human agent, counted once per thread however many messages it holds. Replies from Flows and Lyro do not count, and neither do visitor messages nobody answers. The help centre gives two reset rules, the first day of each month in one article and your account activation date in another, and it describes counting when an agent clicks Solve rather than when a human first replies. At the limit, the help centre says you can no longer see or respond to new incoming messages. Lyro conversations are the AI meter: a conversation on any connected channel with at least one Lyro reply, counted once however many times Lyro answers. Nothing is deducted if Lyro hands the chat straight to a human. The vendor's own pages disagree on returning visitors: the pricing FAQ says a customer who leaves and returns later is still a single conversation, while the help-centre article on the Lyro limit, updated in September 2026, says a thread closes after 15 minutes of inactivity and Lyro's next reply is counted again. Budget on the stricter reading until Tidio settles it. Paid Lyro quotas refresh 30 days after payment; the free allowance never resets, and when it runs out Lyro stops for good. Flows visitors reached is the automation meter: the number of unique visitors for whom any flow ran, however many flows each triggered. A flow that greets every new visitor therefore uses one unit per new arrival on your site, whether or not that person chats. It resets every 30 days from activation or purchase, and at the limit all flows stop while live chat keeps working. At any limit, standard (non-Plus) monthly plans upgrade that product to its next tier automatically once usage reaches 95% of the quota. The setting is on by default, can be switched off, and the help centre says it exists only for newer projects. On annual plans, on Plus, on Free or with auto-upgrade off, the feature simply stops at the limit. There is no published price per extra unit on any self-serve plan. Our guide to what counts as a conversation compares this with other vendors. Source

What the free plan really allows
Tidio's Free plan never expires. The help centre says it includes up to 10 seats, 50 human-answered conversations a month and Flows for 100 unique visitors a month, and it can connect Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp. It also includes 50 Lyro AI conversations, but that is a one-time allowance: when it is used up, Lyro stops and the quota never resets. Free is limited to 1 Lyro Action. It excludes advanced analytics, permissions, automatic assignment, macros and branding removal, so the "Powered by Tidio" mark stays on the widget. When the conversation limit is reached you are notified and can no longer see or answer new messages until the next reset. New accounts can also start a 7-day trial of paid features with no credit card, after which the account drops to Free. In practice Free runs a rule-based bot indefinitely and lets you sample the AI agent, not run it. See how it compares on our list of free chatbot builders.
What it costs at three volumes
The cheapest published Tidio Lyro plan that covers three monthly volumes of conversations, on monthly billing. It is arithmetic on the vendor's price list, not a quote.
| Product | 100 conversations a month | 1,000 conversations a month | 5,000 conversations a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tidio Lyro | US$75 (Lyro AI Agent 100) | US$700 (Lyro AI Agent 1,000) | Custom quote |
The worked examples count Lyro AI conversations only and use the Lyro AI Agent tiers on monthly billing; they exclude the Customer Service plan for human replies (Starter is US$29 a month), Flows, automatic upgrades, and any volume above 1,000 conversations, which needs a custom plan.
