Typebot's [pricing page](https://typebot.com/pricing) lists three self-serve cloud plans in US dollars, billed monthly only; the page says annual plans are not offered because pricing is based on chat usage. Personal costs $0 and includes 200 chats a month with unlimited bots. Starter costs $39 a month with 2 seats and 2,000 chats, and extra chats are sold at $10 per 500. Pro costs $89 a month with 5 seats and 10,000 chats, and adds WhatsApp, custom domains and in-depth analytics. Pro's extra-chat tiers sit behind a pop-over on the pricing page; the figures we cite come from the [billing constants in Typebot's public repository](https://github.com/baptisteArno/typebot.io/blob/main/packages/billing/src/constants.ts): the first step covers up to 15,000 chats for $50 more a month, the second up to 20,000 chats for $95 more, and the ladder runs to 1,000,000 chats for $5,257 more. Reading those amounts as an add-on to the Pro base price is our interpretation of the code, not a statement from the vendor. Enterprise is quoted and adds custom chat limits and seats, an SLA contract, SSO and a dedicated IP address. ## What you are billed for

Typebot bills for chats. The pricing page says a chat is counted whenever a user starts a discussion, regardless of how many messages are sent, and gives a shortcut: one chat equals one row in your Results table. If a returning visitor's session is remembered, it is not counted as a new chat. The allowance is monthly. On a paid plan, the pricing FAQ says you get a heads-up email at 80% of your included chats and another at 100%, and after that your chat limit is automatically upgraded to the next tier. In plain terms, the bot keeps running and the bill steps up. On Starter each step is a pack of 500 chats for $10; on Pro the steps are the larger tiers described above. Typebot does not publish a price per single chat, so our worked examples move to the next plan rather than estimating one. The pricing page does not say what happens to a free workspace when it reaches 200 chats. AI tokens are never part of the unit: they are billed by your own AI provider. ## What the free plan really allows

The Personal plan is permanent, not a trial. The pricing page lists unlimited typebots, 200 chats a month, native integrations, webhooks, custom JavaScript and CSS, and community support. It keeps Typebot branding on the bot and leaves out file-upload inputs, folders, WhatsApp, custom domains and in-depth analytics. There is no AI quota to run out of, because AI calls go through your own provider account. What Typebot does when a free workspace passes its chat cap is not documented, so ask before you rely on it for a campaign. The other free route is self-hosting, which the docs say gives access to all features on your own servers.

## What it costs at three volumes

The cheapest published Typebot plan that covers three monthly volumes of chats, on monthly billing. It is arithmetic on the vendor's price list, not a quote.

| Product | 100 chats a month | 1,000 chats a month | 5,000 chats a month |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Typebot | $0 (Personal) | $39 (Starter) | $89 (Pro) |

_List prices on monthly billing, verified on the date shown on this page. Extra seats, add-ons, taxes and third-party channel fees (for example Meta's WhatsApp charges) are not included._

The worked examples use Typebot's cloud plans on monthly billing and jump to the next plan when a volume passes an allowance, because no per-chat overage price is published; they exclude your AI provider's bill, Meta's WhatsApp fees and the server costs of self-hosting.
