## Principles

- **No source, no sentence.** Prices, limits and claims link to where they came from.
- **Reading is not testing.** Words such as "tested", "hands-on" and "we found" are reserved for work we have actually done and published.
- **A claim keeps its owner.** A vendor's number is labeled as the vendor's number.
- **One question, one page.** We do not publish two pages that answer the same question.
- **Answer first, plainly.** The conclusion opens the page; jargon gets defined or cut.

## Sourcing

Primary sources come first: pricing pages, documentation, terms, platform policies, the text of laws and case studies that name the customer. Independent press and regulators are used to check what vendors say. A vendor's content is never used as evidence about a competitor. Every source shows the date we last read it. Research tools can paraphrase, so we do not present text as a verbatim quotation unless a person has checked it against the page.

## Independence

## Language editions
